Agricultural Grade Fans and Ventilation Equipment are designed for harsh environments that are often found in horticulture and livestock production. Livestock, dairy cows, poultry, swine and horses etc. need proper ventilation and clean fresh air to achieve their maximum production potential. Good air quality minimizes stress and is important to your animals health and your investment. Agricultural circulation fans and agricultural exhaust fans can be used to maintain proper humidity levels, remove harmful gas such as methane and C02 gases, odors and harmful particles.

Proper Ventilation is essential in agricultural buildings. Removing stagnant air and promoting good air flow prevents the buildup of humidity and harmful odors, gases and particles and dust often associated with buildings containing livestock and helps to maintain a moderate temperature and optimal environment. By equipping your building with the proper combination of air circulation equipment, exhaust fans, livestock fans, air intakes, evaporative coolers and agricultural grade ceiling fans you can promote respiratory health for both animals and human workers. Each season offers its own set of challenges. During the summer months, excessive heat and humidity can stress your animals. A properly designed ventilation system improves comfort by creating a breeze and moving cooler air through your building. In winter months, the presence of harmful gases still exist, so proper ventilation in addition with proper heating are an excellent way to eliminate toxins and odors from the air.

Agricultural Exhaust Fans provide the most efficient way to exchange clean fresh outside air with the stagnate air found in your livestock and cattle barn. When you power on a wall exhaust fan or a roof exhaust fan, you create a negative pressure inside your facility causing fresh air to enter through your shutter or air intake. A general rule of air flow is to keep your exhaust fan as far away from your fresh air intake source such as a possible causing a positive air flow between your exhaust fan and your fresh air source. Environmental controls such as modulating thermostats and multi stage controls can automate the process and turn essential equipment off and on when needed.

Agricultural Ceiling Fans and industrial ceiling fans are typically made with a sealed motor and sometimes a sealed down rod (consult product literature) that prevent moisture and dust from entering the bearing compartment prolonging the life of the ceiling fan. They often have a baked on powder coat finish for durability and can be used with variable speed controllers, timers, thermostats etc. Running industrial ceiling fans in the summer can create a mild wind chill lowering the temperature by up to 3 degrees. Floors stay drier and insects are discouraged when high velocity ceiling fans are used. Heavy duty industrial and agricultural ceiling fans are economic to operate and typically use no more power than a 100 Watt light bulb.
